Why Choose A Similans Daytrip?
Not everyone has the time or budget to spend 4 nights or more on a liveaboard, especially those who are dive enthusiasts but come to Phuket with families. So to help you get what you want, without too much inconvenience to your family or your pocket, we've got some options that you might like consider. These options start with a standard daytrip, but we can also provide you with 2, 3 or 4 days of Similans diving where you sleepover in island or on boat accommodation.
What About Snorkeling & Non-Divers?
Snorkelers and other non-divers are welcome to join on any trip but there are times when the dive sites do not provide snorkeling opportunities. Where snorkeling is available, it's great. Plenty of safe coast line to follow for you to look around at marine life in shallow waters. And you can always use a life jacket to keep you extra safe.

You can take a Similans daytrip, or multi-day trip, on any day of the week.

Before your trip...
Complete the booking process
Take any scuba reviews / refreshers to make sure your skills are current
Preferably, upgrade from Open Water Diver to Advanced OWD (here in Phuket) first!
Daytrip...
06:00am: Pickup from your hotel
08:30am: Speedboat from Tap Lamu pier
11:30am: Dive 1
12:45pm: Lunch
01:45pm: Dive 2
03:15pm: Speedboat to Tap Lamu pier
07:00pm: Arrive at your hotel (can sometimes be a little bit later!)
Please note that Dive 1 can sometimes be a little later if the boats are further north, which can make your return time up to 2hrs later than shown here. So if you're planning for any activites after your diving daytrip, please take this comment into consideration.

A very nice boat, for both daytrip and short-term liveaboard.
This boat has specific destinations for each day it's running. |
Please note that this daytrip is available EVERY DAY of the week. It visits the Similan Islands every day, EXCEPT Tuesday and Saturday when it goes to Koh Bon (2 dives) instead.

Please note that you can join this boat ANY DAY of the week. It visits the Similan Islands every day, EXCEPT Wednesday and Sunday when it goes to Richelieu Rock instead.
Somboon 4 has the same features as

Pickups from hotels in Kata/Karon/Patong are free, whilst other areas are between 300 and 500 THB per person (ask for details).
National Park entry and diving fees are already included or detailed in the above prices :-
National Park Entry Fee : 400 THB per person
National Park Diving Fee : 200 THB per diver, per day
